Description
This workshop is recommended for people leaders, human resources, or labour relations practitioners.
During this workshop, participants will learn the basics of contract language and interpretation, including how to understand the collective agreement, key steps in interpretation, relevant past practice, and how it applies in day-to-day practice.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Describe the key terms and principles for contract interpretation.
- Demonstrate how to interpret and apply collective agreement language in post-secondary workplaces.
